Browse Projects Window

 

The use of projects is optional in TimeLog.  It may be activated or de-activated on the Options Window.  When activated, every time period is assigned to a project.  

 

Open the Action Menu and select Projects to open the Project Browse Window.  Use the up and down arrow keys to select a project and press the appropriate button.

 

Select Button - This button selects the highlighted project and returns it to the Time Entry Window for use in the new time entry.

 

New Button - Press this button to open the Project Entry Form in the insert mode to allow the creation of a new project.

 

Edit Button - This button selects the highlighted project and opens the Project Entry Form to allow editing of that project.

 

Delete Button - Press this button to delete the highlighted project.

 

View Times Button - Press this button to display all time entries for the highlighted project.  Time entries can be added, edited, or deleted from this browse window.  It is similar to the Edit Time Entries Window except that it is filtered by project instead of by date.

 

Close Button - Closes the Browse window.

 

Project Form Window

 

This window is used to create or edit project records.

 

Description - Enter the name or description of the project.

 

Hourly Rate - Enter the hourly rate to be charged when working on this project.

 

Status - Select the proper status for this project.  The status should be set to Closed when appropriate.
