Frequently Asked Questions...

How do I purchase if I don't want to do it online?
Complete options for purchasing are listed at our Buy Now Information page.
Are free upgrades included in the purchase price?

Yes. All maintenance upgrades are free.

For example, if you purchase TimeLog 2.02 or 2.10, etc. you will be registered as a TimeLog 2.x Customer. This means any maintenance updates that are released are included free of charge. Maintenance upgrades are minor versions that are released between major versions mainly to fix issues and may include minor new features.

If a major upgrade is released (e.g., TimeLog 3.x), you will be required to pay a small upgrade fee to upgrade from TimeLg 2.x to 3.x. Major upgrades include significant new features and may include changes to existing features.

Please Note: You are guaranteed at least one year of free upgrades even if a major upgrade is included.

What does the error "MSCOMCT2.OCX missing" mean?

If you get get the error "Component 'MSCOMCT2.OCX' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid."

This error indicates that your computer is missing a file that should have been installed when the OS was installed.

To fix it, download MSCOMCT2.OCX or copy it from another machine. Put it in the correct subdirectory (C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32 or C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32 ).

You will then need to register the file by typing in the following command:

C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32\REGSVR32.EXE C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32\MSCOMCT2.OCX (This is one command. A space goes after the .EXE.)  For Windows XP, substitute WINDOWS for WINNT.
